Mary Meyer Sealife Seashore Lobbie Lobster

This is a very funny stuffed toy because I think they managed to keep the lobster looking friendly, yet detailed and life like. I’m sure your little one will not enjoy seeing or playing with a real lobster (they don’t look very friendly) but I am sure that he or she will love this one. The manufacturer says that it is safe to use and recommended for children upwards of 3 months old.

The thing is huge, at around 17 inches, but it is not heavy at all and very, very soft. The bright red color is attractive and the material is very nice. I think the label said it is hypo-allergenic, as most stuffed toys these days, so it is safe to use by children that have allergy problems.

I can see this used as a night toy, used by your little one during sleeping for snuggling. It is big enough to feel comfortable and as an additional pillow, maybe. Because of the large size, I think your child will be able to imagine new ways of using this lobster, I know I can come up with a couple just looking at it for a moment.

It is safety tested by a professional commission and it has passed with flying colors. The idea is that older stuffed toys were not very well made and the years or legs would fall off and your child would swallow them. This doesn’t happen with the Lobbie Lobster because it is built properly and, to tell you the truth, I can’t even tear small pieces from it off unless I really give it my best.

The price asked for this toy is around 10 dollars, with shipping included. It is a very good price for this size and for this kind of quality, so I can only strongly recommend it to anyone that whishes to purchase such an item.
