Kid’s toys
Toys, like other teaching tools, are vital to a kid’s behavioral development; not only are toys fun to play with, but they help kids learn vital skills that are necessary for proper behavioral development. Toys help stimulate kids by challenging their creativeness, imagination and cognitive skills, toys are also know to help improve a kid’s hand eye coordination. Scientific research shows that different sexes prefer different types of toys.
Boys: Boys prefer toys like cars, trucks, construction tools, boats etc… These toys help them develop the necessary learning skills that are vital later on in life. For example: lets look at a boy who may be interested in using a toy construction tool set, he would literally hammer at random objects, pretending to fix something. This may look stupid to you, but in fact it is a vital behavior for proper development of male skills for use later on in adult life.
Girls: Girls tend to prefer toy dolls, toy sewing machines, doll houses etc… These toys are also vital for female behavior, and they reinforce the nature of the human female. With these toys, girls are learning vital female skills that are necessary later on in life, which come naturally. For example: A girl prefers to play with dolls because this behavior teaches and reinforces her maternal skills, which she will need in later on in life. Another example is that a girl enjoys playing with doll houses; this playing behavior also has a purpose. The girl is pretending that she lives in the doll house and that she is taking care of her house, like decorating it, cleaning it etc… This playing with doll houses behavior reinforces her homemaking skills, which is a natural part of female behavior.
Educational Toys:
Educational toys can greatly enhance your kid’s learning ability, and these toys are good enough for both sexes. Some examples of educational toys are, Legos, wood construction blocks, Rubix cubes, puzzles, and Play-Doh. These toys not only teach your kids to build things and solve problems, but they also challenge their imagination. For example: A puzzle set can challenge your kid’s problem solving skills with the help of his or her curiosity. Another similar example would be a Rubix cube. The Rubix cube challenges your kid’s mind to solve a problem, but in a playful manner, which seems fun and interactive.
To conclude all; toys are a great way for a child to learn vital adult behavior, but in a fun and playful manner.
